Young Couple Who Dreamed Of Getting Married Killed In Toms River Crash: Fundraiser

Instead of the wedding that they hoped for, Kiley Armstrong and Evan Fiore will be receiving a joint funeral, loved ones said.

The couple, both 20 years old, were killed by a juvenile driver who hit speeds of nearly 118 mph during a police pursuit in Toms River on Friday, March 7 in Toms River, as previously reported by Daily Voice.

The juvenile, who was behind the wheel of a white BMW, ran a red light and crashed into the car carrying Armstrong and Fiore at Routes 37 and 166, according to authorities and those who knew the victims.

Armstrong and Fiore were pronounced dead at the scene, according to a GoFundMe for their families. Ryan Chapman, 19 and Armstrong's twin sister, Krista, were also in the vehicle and are in critical condition, the campaign says.

Armstrong and Fiore dreamed of getting married someday, according to the fundraiser, but now their families are raising money for a joint funeral, along with medical expenses for Krista and Chapman.

As of Tuesday, March 11, more than $120,000 has been raised.

The juvenile driver was charged with multiple felonies, including aggravated manslaughter, authorities said.
